Select the perfect trophy!

Choose one of the three types of safaris:

  1. Choose one of our standard hunting packages, fully inclusive of: – Daily rate (Accommodation, meals, land transportation & the services of an experienced professional hunter, plus 15% government tax on the dailyrate) – Trophy fees for the animals which are specified in the package.

  2. Send us your wish list and we will customise a personal and fully inclusive package just for you.

  3. Opt for a Daily Rate Safari: –

    1. There is a Daily rate, 15% government tax charged and add the animals you shoot as the opportunity arises In any of the above cases

    2. Additional trophies can be added at the price list rate. Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and are returned there upon completion of the Safari.

    3. Add on tours and photo safari day trips are also available.

Field preparation and care are a top priority for our clients trophies.

Trophy's can be dipped and shipped or you can have it mounted here in South Africa.

The taxidermy we use is Bushveld Taxidermy.

General Information

SDJ African Safaris understands that booking an African Safari is a big decision and that anyone thinking about it has multiple questions.

We would like to be there for you every step of the way from planning, to your trophy's return to your home. We strive to offer you exceptional quality at competitive prices.

When you have selected the safari you would like to book the you will be required to sign the contract where all Safari activities specific to your safari are agreed and confirmed.

You will be required to pay the deposit of $1000.

Airfare& Airport Arrival

After we have agreed on the dates and length of stay in South Africa, you are required to book your flights.

 

A direct flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (Gauteng). We recommend either Delta out of Atlanta, or United Airlines out of Newark.

If you are a US citizen you need only a valid passport with two clean pages to travel to South Africa. If you are NOT a US citizen, you might require a visa.

We will personally meet you at the airport and help you to collect your rifle.

After you have collected your rifles, you will be transferred to your hunting area.

What to pack for your Safari

Laundry is done every third day, therefore three sets of hunting clothes will do: khaki or camo or whatever you prefer.

A range of temperatures may be experienced in one day so dressing in layers is advisable. When booking the trip a more detailed list will be provided.

Health & Safety

No shots are needed for South Africa.

Our hunting areas are Malaria free. Malaria medication is required if you are traveling to the Kruger National Park for a photo safari or hunting near Kruger National park any time between March and May & September and November.
